The students and the school administration were overwhelmed by this much-in-need generosity, a need for many years. The principal of Nalanda School Mrs. Senvirathna Eapa said “We sincerely appreciate Dialog, Sri Lanka Airforce and EWIS for coming forward and providing our students with their much-needed TC facilities. Our school has made several requests to various institutions to refurbish the IT laboratory for months, and we were much surprised, and we are thankful to these gracious establishments for offering assistance even without us asking. Now it’s the responsibility of our teachers and students to make full use of these worthy donations in shaping their future.”
Dialog included teacher-student training for the use of technology and would continue to provide service & support on connectivity and together with SLAF & EWIS would continue to monitor progress the school achieves through the availed technology and assets to further assist in time. This worthy cause was executed parallel to the 10th edition of the Commanders’ Cup golf tournament in Trincomalee, which was sponsored by Dialog Enterprise.
